First victory of the Slovak curling players in the World CupThe Slovak representatives reported the historically first victory at the World Curling Cup.
Bronze medalists 1. CC at Grand Prix of TrutnovCurling female players of 1. CC Bratislava were really successful when won the third place at the Grand Prix of Trutnov in the competition of 18 teams. The Slovak champions beat three Polish teams Piechowice 6:5, Sopot II 8:5, Sopot I 9:1, home team Trutnov 7:5. Only a team from Kaldno could beat them (3:9). Following players formed the team of 1. CC Bratislava: Barbora Bugárová, Gabika Kajanová, Zuzana Axamítová, plus a junior of Trutnov team David Nývlt.
Final standing: 1. Piechowice 10 points, 2. CC Dion Praha 8, 3. 1. CC Bratislava 8. Eighth place at the tournament Leticí kameny Trophy in PragueThe Slovak team 1. CC Bratislava was successful during the international tournament Letici kameny Trophy 2007 (subsidy of CZK 120 thousand) when took the eight place out of 28 teams from 10 countries.
